While studying Literature at the University of Stonybrook Katie fell in love with the theater. She has acted in numerous stage productions and in both film and TV. Some of her acting credits include TBS "Search Party, CBS "Blue Bloods", Showtime "Billions", TNT "The Big Time", HBO "Sex & The City", Sci-Fi Channel and the Sundance Channel "Touch". It was after acting in and producing a successful run of the play “Burn This” by Lanford Wilson that Katie began to pursue producing in addition to acting. Behind the camera she has produced several award winning short and feature films. The award winning feature film Gold Star starring Robert Vaughn that Katie produced is currently available on Amazon. Katie is currently in post-production with the series SWITCH starring Olympia Dukakis. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Equity, and New York Women in Film and TV.
After graduating from Cornell University and dabbling in the corporate world for a few years it was clear that Catherine’s office mates shouldn’t be the only ones benefiting from her magnificent comedy and acting skills. This started a series of events working with top acting coaches and agencies in NYC. Over the years Catherine has earned her acting credits from starring roles in HBO hit series, NBC “ 30 Rock”, TBS “ Are We There Yet?”, several daytime television and national commercial spots. She has recently partnered up with the talented Katie Maguire to form the entertainment company IT’S THURSDAY! Productions. LI DIVAS is their first project together. LI DIVAS is Catherine’s Directorial debut. She continues to live and work in California and New York as a SAG-AFTRA member.

Sherrod Small is an American stand-up comedian and television personality. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He currently co-hosts the podcast Race Wars with comedian Kurt Metzger. He is know for Are We There Yet?
Leslie Meisel was born in Philadelphia. Her parents moved to South Florida when Leslie was a year old. After graduating with honors in Theatre from the University of Florida she moved to New York and started studying with Martin de Maat at the Second City NYTC. She then auditioned and became a cast member in The Second City Business Theatre New York Company. She continued her improv training at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and performed on two improv Harold house teams.Her first one-woman show "You Never Know" premiered at The PIT (People's Improv Theatre) in March of 2005 and was listed as "One of the best shows of 2005" alongside Doubt, Pillowman, and Jersey Boys. Her most recent show "Love Can Suck A D**k...And So Can I!" - which was co-created with Megan Neuringer - sold out at UCBTLA and had a hit year long run at UCBTNY.
Born and raised in Yonkers NY, Steve's fascination with film started at an early age. After studying film in college he stayed in New York cutting his teeth on independent feature films and video productions. While at times the jack of all trades on any given project, his focus and study has always been camera and lighting. His passion for independent production has allowed Steve to engage in the complete creative process from beginning to end: writing, shooting and editing. As of recently, Steve has collaborated on TV pilots, commercials, short films, web series and action sports films.
Paul has always been a "character" growing up in Yonkers NY. He eventually found his way to SUNY Purchase to save the Environment but ended up finding himself on the Stage. He likes to tell everyone that he actually went to "Summer Stock" to hone his craft. But the truth is Paul has an amazing innate ability to take on a character and improv his way into comedic genius. Paul is very excited and willing to risk losing his clients and his own business for the sake of LI DIVAS!
Max was born and raised in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He started his professional career in radio, commercial and theatre in his teens. Before moving to New York City, he attended drama school in London where he also made appearances on BBC UK and the West End Stage. Max had graced the stages in four continents and in 2011, Max was awarded Best Male Performance for his portrayal of Simon Greene. Max has produced for the stage, the web, and most recently film. His first film "Chaser" premiered in late 2012 and has been screened world-wide.
Ryan is thrilled to be working on LI Divas with the wonderful cast and crew. Hailing from Brooklyn, Ryan loves getting the chance to poke fun at New Yorkers through a healthy dose of improv. Born and raised in Queens, New York. Some credits include the films The Unexpected, Agent of Death, On The Loose, The Session, Times Like These; music videos with artist (Bright Light Bright Light);and camera operator for an episode of the comedy web series “Brett & The City”, directed a music video for PBS Children’s Music Artist Meredith LeVande. Effie recently produced a global warming PSA featuring world renowned saw artist Natalia Paruz, whose work was featured in Another Earth. Effie’s directorial debut Blooming Road, reached the Queens World Film Festival in March 2013 and was featured in Queens Courier Magazine. She’s currently in post-production with the feature film Gold Star and finishing up her first feature-length screenplay, based on her family’s past.
